The “Last
& Best” County Fair in Ohio is always held during the Fall in Lancaster.
With the majestic Fall colors & magnificent Mt. Pleasant overlooking the
fairgrounds, this setting is truly awesome. This year’s 176th edition
features historic favorite events plus a few new things have been added. The Jr
Fair segment of this Fair is always one of the top 3 or 4 County Fairs in Ohio
regarding the number of exhibitors plus number of projects shown at the Fair. The
Open Class segment is just as large, highlighted by all the outstanding entries
in the Art Hall facility.
The Fairfield
County 4H & FFA livestock numbers & quality are viewed as “top notch”
throughout the state. These outstanding young exhibitors deserve all the
support we can give them. There will be livestock offered in the sale that will
fit anyone’s budget. Buyers can have an animal processed locally for your personal use or if you do not want to put a processed animal in your freezer, you can
take advantage of the “Packer Bid” which means your Bid goes to the exhibitor
& our Packer pays the market value of the animal to the exhibitor. Please
reserve the following dates to attend & support the Jr Fair Livestock Auction-
Thur,
Oct 15 at 5:00PM- Beef Steers, Dairy steers & Hogs
Fri,
Oct 16 at 10AM- Lambs, Goats, Rabbits & Poultry
